Bio of Ivan Mitev
Born on July 7, 1967 in Plovdiv, Bulgaria, Ivan Mitev graduated from College of Fine Arts in Plovdiv in 1986 with major black-and-white drawing (etching). In 1991 he became a member of the Guild of Masters of National Crafts as a master of iconography. The artist lives and works in Plovdiv, Bulgaria and has participated in exhibitions in the country and abroad. His works have been purchased in Austria, Bulgaria, England, Italy, France, Germany, and the USA.

The talent is not only a gift from God, but also a challenge. People, who are born genius, are not much. The rest of us must work hard to develop their gift.
